Construction Overview:
This course covers an introduction to construction and construction safety following by units teaching carpentry, plumbing, electricity, and HVAC. It meets 2 nights a week, usually from 6 PM – 9 PM. This course costs $50 per unit or $200 if taking all units.

Empower Clarkston (Green Construction):
This is a paid course that takes place during the work day for two weeks. One week of classroom training let by Tekton Training Center covers construction safety, building science, combustion safety, air sealing, ducts, insulation, and water efficiency. Students also complete one week of field training, performing energy efficiency upgrades to homes in Clarkston. This project is a collaboration between Tekton Career Training, The Southface Insitute, and Greenlink Analytics.

Refcode (Computer Coding):
Refcode is an introductory computer coding course teaching the tools and code to build a website, core internet concepts, and key communication and collaboration skills. The course meets once a week for 10 weeks and costs $200. No coding experience is required.
